After a few tweaks, I managed to move the new website layout to the main directories of my site. There were a few setbacks with the earlier articles with absolute url’s. I had to change all the links. With a few more tweaks here and there, the website should be done with. It should because I want to dwell on other projects now.
Been editing my site the whole night and slowly it is taking shape.Tonight I have been working on the comment system, auto-resizing of article thumbnails, making sure all articles are consistently designed, etc. Too many to even try to remember now.
I am in Bartlett, IL right now (Chicago area), visiting my mom, dad, my sister and my brother-in-law, Kix and his new brother, Lance. Cute kids! Everything is perfect except the weather. Sunny Florida was in the 90’s when I left. Bartlett is in the upper 40’s and it has been raining badly… Well, I didn’t come here for the weather.
I was working on my site again the whole night. This time I dwelt on the Download menu where Giga Angklung is featured. I learned a lot in the process – mostly about not to do!
This is my new nephew Kix when he was born at the height of winter. I had to go up to Chicago to see him as well as my sis, my mom and dad. Kix is my first nephew (as far as I know) so I was really excited to see him! I have forgotten how small new-born babies are so I was really fascinated when I held him in my arms. Kix was so tiny.
Here’s testing if the new website format that I have configured is working or not.I have been struggling with the migration the whole night. Apparently, I upgraded to 1.5.17 in the localhost only to find out that it was behaving erratically when I uploaded the version to powweb.com which is stuck at 1.5 to this hour.
I wrote and recorded the soundtrack of “The Coming” (2009), written and directed by Chad Costen (Vancauver, Canada).
Ethnic arrangement of Johann Sebastian Bach’s popular tune. The main melody is played on angklungs. “Air on a G-String” was played by the Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble.
