L’important C’est La Rose was recorded with thirty eight other UP Concert Chorus friends from all over the world as dedication and support to all frontliners, especially those from our UPCC family. The quarantines, lockdowns and social distancing that have been implemented in almost all parts of the globe due to COVID-19 seeded this Choirantine project during our chats at Facebook. This was my first attempt at virtual choir.
L’important C’est La Rose was composed by Louis Amade and Gilbert Bécaud in 1967 and arranged for SATB and piano by Magdangal de Leon.
Participants in this project are alumni members of the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus who are now living in different countries.
