The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. and all its nineteen member-organizations will be celebrating the 20th year of PhilFest from Friday to Sunday, April 10-12, 2015. This will be held at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex (Bayanihan Arts and Events Center and Philippine Village) in Tampa, Florida.
About PhilFest 2015
PhilFest is a three day Philippine festival of all things Filipino. There will non-stop entertainment by PCFI’s own performing groups, volunteer artists from all over the Tampa Bay Area and surrounding cities and states. Competitions with huge prizes will also be featured: “Tawag ng Tanghalan” singing competition for adults, “Tanghalang Pambata” talent competition for children, “Revolution” hip-hop dance competition, “Yugyugan” street dancing competition, “Mrs. PhilFest”, “Flores de PhilFest” and many more. At the same time, the festival grounds will be full of kiosks and pavilions for various Filipino food and merchandise and other presentations prepared by each PCFI member-organization and by local Filipino-American businesses, merchandisers and sponsors. The Bayanihan Arts and Events Center will also be full of Philippine cultural exhibits, including an art exhibit of the participating entries from ARTE On-the-Spot Art Competition.
Being the 20th festival, PhilFest 2015 will be the biggest celebration to date. One of the major sponsors is The FIlipino Channel (TFC) which will surely bring more excitement to the festival. Watch out for further announcements on what will be in store for the festival!
Advance Gate entrance tickets to PhilFest are only $5.00. At the gate, the regular entrance tickets will be $7.00. Children 5 years and under come in for free!

Do I need to fill out an entertainment application for this year’s festival? If so. Do you have them available already? Have to get things organized for the funding from the college for new costumes,hotel and transportation. Thank you in advance.
