Thai Temple in Tampa

If you have nothing else to do on Sundays, there is this hidden paradise in Tampa called the Wat Mongkolratanaram in Tampa. This is a Thai Buddhist temple. It’s not that you should attend services if you’re a Buddhist but they have a food fest held every Sunday where you can eat all the Thai food you can eat at really cheap prices. What’s more striking is the Temple that was built there. It’s like all of a sudden you’re not in the US!

Pho Quyen: Vietnamese Treat

So my friend, Ann and I decided to watch a movie after a very intense meeting on a Sunday afternoon. Before anything else we had to eat so we decided to look for Applebee’s since I had a gift card from last Christmas. We could not find it anywhere along Hillsborough Avenue so to make it short, we ended up at Pho Quyen Vietnamese Restaurant. I think this choice turned out to be the better one.

New Year’s Rainbow

A complete rainbow at 7am. I took this photo while on my way to church. What vivid colors against the still dark sky! I have never seen anything like it. Happy New Year!
