Celebrate Delius

The Florida Orchestra is once again teaming up with the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay in “Celebrate Delius”, a three day weekend concert featuring the works of Frederick Delius, “Sea Drift” and “Appalachia: Variations on an Old Slave Song” with guest baritone soloist, Leon Williams. Maestro Stefan Sanderling will be conducting the concert which will open with Beethoven’s “Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage” and end with Aaron Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait”.

We have been rehearsing the Delius and Beethoven pieces with James Bass and Brett Karlin very diligently and I am confident that this will be a high-caliber concert!
